Ten Grands and the Snowman Foundation have partnered with PONCHO for an extraoridinary evening of superb musical talent in order to promote the performing arts across Washington State. Proceeds from Ten Grands will benefit PONCHO's Arts Education Fund.
In it's second season in Seattle, the event will take place April 03, 2009 at Benaroya Hall. The evening will feature enchanting and inspirational individual and simultaneous performances by some of the Northwest's best-known artists. Last year, guests were treated to the magical stylings of:
MICHAEL ALLEN HARRISON (composer, producer, adult-contemporary recording artist)
DAVID LANZ (Internationally known New Age Artist)
TOM GRANT (N.W.'s Jazz Cat)
MICHAEL KAESHAMMER (Boogie Woogie and Jazz)
ROSA LI (16-year-old musical phenom)
JOHN NILSEN (Pop dynamo)
BARBARA ROBERTS (classical genius...five year veteran of Ten Grands Portland)
JANICE SCROGGINS (Blues Legend)
BOGEY VUJKOV (legendary Jazz Stylist)
REGINA YEH (Classical Master)
Ten Grands is the concept of the Snowman Foundation, who's vision is to promote the musical arts in the Pacific Northwest. What began as the vision of Northwest composer and pianist Michael Allen Harrison evolved into a multi- community effort which shares the joy, the healing, the learning, and the life-changing gifts music has to offer. PONCHO is proud to be selected as the beneficiary of such an inspiring event.
