Please join PONCHO as we nurture the region’s artistic roots, support the branches of our cultural institutions, cultivate the blossoms of creativity, and assure a growing and sustainable arts community for generations to come.

The 8th Annual Invitational Fine Art Auction Grow ART Saturday, October 3, 2009, 5:00pm at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel 1400 Sixth Avenue Seattle, WA 98101
The Invitational Fine Art Auction will bring over 800 art patrons, collectors, gallery owners and artists together for an exciting evening of fine dining, fine art, festive attire, and competitive bidding to raise vital funds needed to keep our world class arts community alive and thriving. Proceeds from this event will benefit local visual art, dance, music, and theatre organizations and their arts education outreach. Much as our patrons have come to expect, this will be the must-attend event of the year!

The PONCHO auction committee is also proud to announce that items in the auction will be on display for public viewing at: The PONCHO Invitational Fine Art Exhibition, a salon-style showing of nearly 300 works of art from the area’s most noted established and emerging artists. Works in all media will be displayed, including painting, prints, sculpture, fiber arts and glass.

And once again, PONCHO will be presenting up to twenty-five Artist Merit Awards recognizing outstanding work donated to the auction, as well as the PONCHO Artist of the Year Award honoring an individual artist’s achievement and community involvement. This year PONCHO is also proud to feature the Artists’ Choice Award, the winner to be determined by a vote of the contributing artists themselves.

PONCHO’s roots reach deeply into the cultural core of the Puget Sound region, strengthening and nurturing our artistic institutions, and allowing imagination, creativity and talent to reach for the sky. Please come to the The 8th Annual Invitational Fine Art Auction and help us Grow ART!
