The 7th Annual PONCHO Invitational Fine Art Auction, Addicted to Art, was held Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Bell Harbor International Conference Center.
Another record breaking year, almost $375,000 was raised in support of the arts. To all who were involved, we say Thank you!

An amazing night of celebrating and collecting original art from some of the most noted, emerging and established, northwest artists. This year's auction was the not-to-be-missed artist party of the year. This auction has quickly become the most important art auction in our area, attended by some of the Seattle area’s most prominent art collectors and patrons.
A number of exciting new additions to the auction venue were introduced this year, including special sections of the Silent and Live Auctions which were curated by three top Seattle galleries and respected art dealers:
Beyond the enormity of break through art from emerging and established NW artists, a few standout pieces were awarded a PONCHO Merit Award from this past Art Auction. PONCHO IFA “Artistic Merit Awards” were awarded to 25 participating artists who demonstrated an exceptional creative ability in their art, specifically:
1. Excellence in visual content, expression, strength and creativity
2. Excellence in mastery of chosen media

PONCHO is also pleased to announce Patti Warashina as the 2008 PONCHO Artist of the Year. Find out more about Patti here.
The evening also featured cutting edge, projected installations by the Henry Art Gallery (among others). Guests enjoyed spirited entertainment by CAPTAIN SMARTYPANTS, Seattle Men's Chorus' most untraditional choral group.
